SO, WHERE DO YOU STAND IN THIS CROWD???

There are so many human beings present on the planet Earth but every time i gaze around, I find, each one of us living in our own small customized world. Our world consists of
---- PEOPLE ( as in, who we are blessed to be with (by god’s grace ie our family)OR the one we admire( ie to be like) OR love to be with( numerous people fall into this category for different reasons like work, studies OR just for HANGIN’ around) OR people who are so lovely to be looked at ;-) ),
----THINGS( as in, the things that belong to us ( may be, phone, i-pod, Play station etc etc..) OR things which we want to belong to us( as in, BMW, Lamborghini, Microsoft Corp.(NO OFFENSE ON THIS NAME PLEAAASSSSEEEEE!!!!))
----BELIEFS( it’s something that makes you stand out of the crowd…something that you THINK and BELIEVE IN…something that you want to see actually HAPPENING( it’s better that u understand it by now as I dunno, hw should I explain you the word “BELIEF”, it’s just so……AAAArgh!!!)All I know is that my beliefs makes me as unique as you must be and I just stick to MY beliefs unless I am proved that there’s a better way, which is a rare case ;) )

Earlier I used to think that my life( what so ever) is because of my decisions and my decisions were so because of my beliefs. AND GUESS WHAT, I WAS SO WRONG!!!
The actual flowchart is--- BELIEFS-->CHOICES-->DECISIONS-->so called, LIFE.
It’s not just the case with me, it’s with each one of us. Our decisions define our life or in short, define us , where as, our decisions are so because of the choices that we make. ( You can choose to be a victim of failure or can choose not to commit the same mistake again ;))

Consider these two incidents( BOTH OF THEM HAPPENED IN FRONT OF MY B*$@# $ EYES):
INCIDENT 1: Few kids were laughing and decided to talk to a foreigner sitting next to them. They actually talked to him for a while and then in usual casual fashion started using the words which they shouldn’t, taking advantage of knowing a language which is, an alien’s language for the poor foreigner. NO BODY stops them and just walks around thinking; how ill-mannered these kids are?
INCIDENT 2: Few kids were laughing and decided to talk to a foreigner sitting next to them. They actually talked to him for a while and asked him questions like, “What is your name?” , “ What do u do here?”, “ Which country you belong to?”, “ Do you like our country?”, etc etc etc…Those kids couldn’t talk to him in perfect English( which is supposed to be THE UNIVERSAL language now) , nevertheless, each question they asked, made me feel so proud( I saw something like that for the first time-I hope it explains, why I was proud =) ).
IN BOTH THE CASES, belief may be the same but choices and the decisions taken so forth has changed everything.

These are just two small incidents. There are many more happening around the globe and many of us are either the participants or the spectators BUT all we read/listen about is racism, bad behavior, mishap etc etc. To such incidents, Optimism is the first casualty. Trust me, Good incidents are also happening along with the bad ones. Why don’t we choose to praise the good ones, to promote them and make the world aware about them as well?
SO next time ask yourself; Where do you stand in this BIG crowd??? What makes you Unique??? And try and choose a better or beautiful LIFE…

What Choice Will You Make???

How would you react if the person sitting next to you says, “ My yokefellow devoured casse-crouten in 1.5 minutes” or “ My chum recently kaput his correlation with his fiancé”? Confused, eh???( or thinking --at the back of your mind, of course- that either this person has gone crazy or he/she is talking in a language of his/her own where few words are known to you, Thankfully!!!)

What if I have to say that “ I will go home by train” in pure Hindi (which makes the sentence sound like “ Main lauh path gaamini k dwara grah k liye prasthan karunga (or something like that)”) with such mind-blowing (read it sarcastically) words which will actually end up blowing your mind.(Boy, you must have got my point by now).

Every time I come across any such article or text with grandiosity of prose( or simply put “flowery words”) , few thoughts come across my mind: May be I should catch a dictionary for helping me understand the crux of the text(which is all-time obvious case with me) OR …this person has a great vocabulary( yes!!! Such people really exist on this planet and luckily I know few of “em ;)) OR…why the heck this text is written when one can’t understand it in first go. Instead, jumble up few crazy difficult words and confuse (read as bore) the people around.

Well, if I have to see a ray of hope then such words can be helpful in reducing the length of your text and make them interesting. For instance: consider a boy saying to a girl “ I have got you beautiful reproductive tools of plant-life” Or which can be said as “ I have got you beautiful flowers”. Simple, isn’t it ??? (Although if u bring flowers then don’t say it instead just gift it. Well, the discussion will divert me from the main agenda so better leave it here).

As i think I have stretched the above thoughts a little so let us talk about something different.

All through this while (i.e. all through these years of my life) I have met so many different people with such different tastes, religions, languages, beliefs, colors and behaviors that I ‘ve lost count. Few of them walk around as if they belong to the world and few as if, the world belong to them (Ponder a little and you’ll catch the difference between the two, trust me!!!). Everybody behaves different at different places. Their behavior is actually a variable to change. They wear different facets at different occasions and which of them is true is so hard to guess. Is that what is required to sustain in this world or to show that you belong to the group or to pretend that you rock? Everybody wishes to be some one else so as to please the world around them. The question is: Is it really required? If you will portray the “real” you then how much harm it can do to your so called “IMAGE”. The real “you” is all that makes you different from every other human being around.

So try and just be you because trust me YOU “LL ROCK in the true sense this time. You will find it easier and will find yourself some how relaxed. Try to grow out of your weaknesses. Work on them, get rid of them and choose Over All Growth over Pretence. TRY IT!!!
